What are the films that inspired STRANGER THINGS? Find out at the Prince Charles Cinema in November

Since it launched, the Netflix series STRANGER THINGS has blown up as this season's essential TV show, with its appeal seeming to be particularly strong with those of a certain generation who grew up on a diet of now-legendary 80s films and pop culture. The PCC has decided to honour it in the best way possible... an all-night marathon on November 26, featuring 6 films which they figure heavily inspired the series. Expect some synths on the night too!

The line-up for The Films That Inspired STRANGER THINGS is as follows:

STAND BY ME (Digital)
THE GOONIES (35mm)
E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL (Format TBC)
FIRESTARTER (35mm)
POLTERGEIST (35mm - note, print has faded)
THE THING (Format TBC)
