Aardman animated short released to mark WWI Centenary and Imperial War Museum re-opening

Aardman's Flight of the Stories

Aardman's Flight of the Stories

To mark the WWI Centenary this year, and to tie in with the reopening on July 17th of the Imperial War Museum in London, Wallace and Gromit creators Aardman Animation and the IWM have released an animated film - Flight of the Stories- based around the diaries and letters of participants in the fighting. Actors read the various extracts, which are taken from the IWM's vast collections.

It is available now to view below and on the IWM website.

The museum will reopen on 19 July, with renovated  first world war galleries and a special exhibition of British art from the war, Truth and Memory. See here for the full press release.
