Gillian Anderson will play Blanche DuBois in the Young Vic's production of Tennessee Williams' classic play

The Young Vic theatre's forthcoming production of A Streetcar Named Desire has become the fastest-selling in its history. Now the production, with a cast that includes Gilliand Anderson (The X-Files) and Ben Foster (The Messenger) is due to be beamed out to cinemas as part of the NT Live programme from the National Theatre. The performance on 16th September will be shown in cinemas globally at 7pm UK time. Tickets are to go on sale soon, so check back on the NT Live website or get on the mailing list.
