Warners offering Gravity's Alfonso Cuaron two major projects

Alfonso Cuaron

Alfonso Cuaron

Given the success of his recent thriller Gravity for Warners, its no surprise to see the studio working hard to keep Alfonso Cuaron in the fold. News has been buzzing about recently that two major projects have been offered to Cuaron recently. Empire has a news story about the ongoing development of a prequel to Stanley Kubrick's film version of Stephen King's The Shining, With Warners apparently now offering The Overlook Hotel to Cuarón as his next directing gig. And only last week I was reading about how Cuarón was also in talks for the Warners Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them: which would make a lot of sense given Cuaron directed the third film in the Potter franchise: Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban.
