News: There will be a new Alan Partidge film and series

In the wake of the success of Alpha Papa (or just 'The Alan Partridge film' as everyone seems to be calling it)  Steve Coogan's Alan Partridge will return for a sequel and also for a new series on Sky, including a Coast-style spoof. This was recently confirmed to The Guardian by Henry Normal, co-founder of Coogan's production company Baby Cow.  Partridge moved his show to Sky Atlantic in 2012 having previously been on the BBC.
