Smoke Screen has been about and on the move throughout the BFI London Film Festival 2014, and amongst some of our coverage, which is you can see here, we have:

  • Bennett Miller's acclaimed Cannes-winning character drama Foxcatcher, showcasing career-making performances from stars Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo was also playing in the LFF Gala strand. We have the review here.

 

  • A late addition to the LFF programme - Citizen Four- must surely rank as one of the most topical and compelling documentaries of recent times; Laura Poitras's insider account of her work with NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden in the first days of his leaking of confidential information, via Poitras and her collaborators, to the world media.
