A chance to see the brilliant comedy drama TANGERINE -Smoke Screen's top film of last year- at the Prince Charles Cinema this month, screening as part of Unicorn Nights! Will also be screening alongside the short ROXANNE.
"Let's get real PCC fans, sometimes the mean streets of London and Hollywood get a movie makeover and the real characters of those towns are hidden in the shadows.... Well not with our next UNICORN NIGHTS films they aren't! Two bold and beautiful film events are coming your way....
First up, a double bill featuring the universally acclaimed movie TANGERINE:
It's Christmas Eve in Tinseltown and Sin-Dee (newcomer Kitana Kiki Rodriguez) is back on the block. After hearing that her boyfriend/pimp cheated on her while she was in jail, Sin-Dee and her best friend, Alexandra (newcomer Mya Taylor), set out to find him and teach him and his new lover a lesson. A decidedly modern Christmas tale told on the streets of L.A., director Sean Baker’s TANGERINE defies expectation at every turn.
Screening prior to TANGERINE, Unicorn Nights are proud to present the award winning short film ROXANNE by Paul Frankl.
TANGERINE + ROXANNE (short) - presented by Unicorn Nights
