The Rio and Tricycle Cinemas.
The third edition of the LFFF festival will see eight screenings of a total of 15 films across the Rio cinema in Dalston and the Tricycle cinema in Kilburn.
Kicking the festival off at 6.30pm on Thursday 20 August will be Through the Lens of Hip Hop: UK Women, about women in hip hop in the UK, with both directors of the film around for a Q&A after the screening.
On Friday at theTricycle cinema Esther Broner will screen; a film about the little-known world of Jewish feminism.
At 1.30pm on Saturday 22 August there will be a fundraiser for Rape Crisis, alongside the film It Happened Here, about activism around sexual assault at universities.
The Feminist Classic this year, and closing the festival, will be Cynthia Scott’s 1990 film The Company of Strangers, a feature about a group of older women stranded in the Canadian countryside.
