In their own words: "Reel Good Film Club are three badass London/Brighton-based girls wanting to share our love for the cinema experience with others that, like us, seek to watch films that are culturally and racially diverse! We want to prove there is still an audience for eveything cinematic and offer a programme of special films that everyone should see at least once in their lives!
Reel Good Film Club present Gloria: We’re very happy to be showing one of our favourite (shockingly overlooked) films of the past few years, uproariously uplifting Chilean comedy Gloria. The film follows a 58 year old divorcee who is trying to juggle family, love and everyday life, and could be seen as a cousin (or a mother) to the brilliant Frances Ha. Gloria is a perfect example of the fact that films don’t just have to be about Hollywood starlets to be compelling."
