20-21, 27-28 September.

Ritzy Brixton and other venues.

Over two September weekends Photofusion will bring the very first Still/Moving DSLR Film Festival to Brixton. The festival is focused on exploring the many ways that artists, photographers and filmmakers are engaging with the developments in HD video-capable DSLR cameras.

The programme will include screenings of exclusive and acclaimed films as well as accompanying Q&As and discussions, at The Ritzy and other venues in and around Brixton including Grow:Brixton and Windrush Square.

One highlight is a screening of the well-received documentary Restrepo - which is built on the work of photographer Tim Hetherington working in a isolated special forces outpost in Afghanistan; Hetherington was ultimately kiiled in Libya shortly after winning a nomination for Best Documentary for the film in 2011. There is also McCullin, which studies the life works of veteran war photographer Don McCullin. Both films will feature director Q&As. Anton Corbijn: Inside Out also looks at the work of the titular visual artist, who directed Philip Seymour Hoffman in A Most Wanted Man: one the last roles audiences will see him play on screen.
